Corsiva Boats; cover, cost and conditions
Corsiva builds console boats and sloops in the Netherlands that often serve as a first boat, a rental boat and a club boat. Precisely this use is the point that policies often fail to reflect: anyone who lends out their boat regularly is on the border of commercial use. Up to thirty days a year, private hiring out is included with us, with a written rental agreement.
Sloops travel slowly, and yet most damage occurs while berthing. Berthing damage is full hull cover damage, and damage to another boat is covered by third-party liability. For club and family boats with changing helmsmen it is worth looking at the deductible: the more hands on the helm, the more frequent the small cases.
With an electric drive the battery comes into it as well. Lithium batteries are covered with us when they are part of the boat. Charge only with the original charger and never unattended overnight, because a battery fire in a boat shed is a loss that rarely stays on its own.

Registration
