Drago builds compact motorboats in Spain that in Germany operate mainly on inland lakes and on the Baltic. The boats are light, trailerable and usually fitted with an outboard. The engine output therefore counts heavily towards the premium, and for hull insurance the correctly stated engine with its serial number matters.
The wide-beam models offer considerably more beam at the same length and therefore more payload. Anyone who takes many people on board should not leave out the personal accident cover: it applies to everyone on board, regardless of who invited them, and also covers a fall while getting on and off, the most frequent personal injury on small boats.
