Marinello Boats; cover, cost and conditions
Marinello builds small console and cabin boats, which in southern Europe often serve as rental boats and second boats. For owners that means: anyone who lends out their boat must reflect that use in the contract. Private renting out for up to thirty days a year is included with us, with a written rental agreement; beyond that it is commercial use.
The boats are light and can be trailered. The greatest risk therefore does not lie on the water but ashore: theft from the trailer and damage during launching. Both are included with us, and the trailer is covered at no extra premium if its value is stated in the contract.

Up to thirty days in the insurance year with a written rental agreement, yes. Regular renting out is commercial.
Is theft from the trailer covered?
Yes, under limited hull cover and full hull cover. A coupling lock is a requirement of proper care and reduces the risk.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
