Waterland builds sloepen and tenders for inland waters, frequently with electric propulsion. For the insurance that is relaxed: low speed, small damage radius, manageable values. The most important building block remains third-party liability, because even at six knots you hit jetties, boats and people.

With electric propulsion the battery belongs in the assessment. It is covered if it is a permanent part of the boat and has been taken into account in the value. Charge with the original device and not unattended in a closed hall, as that is the only effective precaution against a battery fire.
