Anyone who takes over a motorboat of the Admirals ranges 205, 235, 245 or 250 today is buying a boat built between 1977 and 1989. For the insured value, what counts is then not the purchase price but the sum needed for an equivalent replacement. It is precisely this sum that we record as an agreed value.
Production of these model ranges lies in the past, and there is no new build behind them any more. At NAMMERT the year of construction does not decide on acceptance: we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. In the event of a claim, full hull cover pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without any age limit.
The basis includes third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are additionally covered by full hull cover. Hull cover has no time window and no night clause.

How is the value of an Admirals motorboat from the 1980s determined?
The value is set as an agreed value and applies in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation. What matters is the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine power and the cruising range, not the brand.
Does cover also apply outside the season?
Yes. Cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the road. A boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium.
