Motor yachts whose construction took place between 1965 and 1972 carry a long history today. It is precisely here that the difference between current market value and agreed value shows itself. NAMMERT agrees a fixed amount and pays it out in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
From the Alphen programme we have the Dieselyacht 13,00, built from 1965 to 1972. We are not aware of any further ranges, and we make no statements about construction method or equipment. Such a vessel can be insured irrespective of year of construction, place of purchase and the number of previous owners.
Besides third-party liability with 10 to 50 million euros, the cover also includes fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the whole boat and damage in winter storage. Anyone who is already insured elsewhere uses the switching service: NAMMERT cancels the previous contract free of charge.

Does a year of construction from the sixties matter when a boat is taken on?
We insure irrespective of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The year of construction is included in the premium calculation, but it does not decide whether a vessel is accepted.
What does limited hull cover include on an older motor yacht?
Fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the whole boat and damage in winter storage. Full hull cover extends this to collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts.

Registration
