The Artcat 46 Power is recorded as a cabin catamaran and was built between 2011 and 2015. Production therefore lies in the past and the boats are traded second hand today. What counts for the compensation is the agreed value, which we set together before the contract is concluded and record bindingly in the contract.
Compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). The full hull cover covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, the limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis.
We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. If you switch to us from an existing contract, NAMMERT cancels the old contract free of charge, so that no gap in cover arises. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the contract is concluded online, and above that we review every case individually.

Frequent questions
How is a boat with a completed production period valued?
Through the agreed value. The value of the Artcat 46 Power is agreed when the contract is taken out, is stated in the contract and is compensated with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). The year of construction and previous owners are no obstacle to acceptance.
Does the cover also apply outside the season?
Yes. Winter storage, craning, launching and transport are included. In the hull cover there is neither a time window nor a night clause, so the cover runs continuously.
