The Florett ranges 140 and 165 were built from 1979 to 1990, the Teal 16 Cabin as early as 1960 to 1973. Boats from these years now change owners only on the used market. The agreed value records the value agreed in the contract, and indemnification is made with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
A year of construction from the sixties or seventies is no ground for exclusion with us. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, and in the Premium tariff the age limit of full hull cover does not apply. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are included there.
If the boat lies ashore over the winter, the cover applies there as well. Winter storage, craning, launching and transport are included, and a boat trailer runs along at no extra premium. Fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the entire boat are already part of the scope of limited hull cover.

Can a Teal 16 Cabin from 1960 still be given hull insurance?
Yes. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies without an age limit, with an agreed value and no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
How is the boat covered outside the season?
The cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and during transport. Damage in winter storage is already borne by limited hull cover.
