For Bero-Plast a single model range is on record, the Swed-Lord, built from 1978 to 1985. There is no information about the size or the focus of the yard. For the insurance this is irrelevant, because the premium is based on type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range and never on the brand.
At the start there is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, graded in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium tariff levels. It bears the consequences if another boat, a jetty or a person is harmed. Only on that basis does the hull insurance build up, which pays for damage to your own boat.
In full hull cover an agreed value applies, compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. With a boat from the early 1980s that is the decisive promise. We cancel the previous contract free of charge on request, so switching costs you no effort.

How high is the limit of indemnity in third-party liability?
Depending on the tariff level, 10 to 50 million euros. Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium differ in the amount and in the scope of the hull cover.
Can a Swed-Lord still have full hull cover despite its age?
Yes. In the Premium tariff the age limit does not apply, compensation is paid at the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). We insure regardless of year of construction and previous owners.
