Two motor boats are on record: the Bimex Manta 19 with a build period from 2012 to 2020 and the Bimex Mediteran 19 from 2010 to 2020. For both, every policy starts with third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, graded in the tariff levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium.
Third-party liability covers damage you cause to others with the boat and is therefore the part that carries the greatest economic weight. Limited hull cover and full hull cover can be built on top of it. Which limit of indemnity makes sense depends on the cruising range, not on the yard.
Both ranges ended in 2020, so production lies in the past; further details on the yard are missing. This makes no difference for taking on the risk, because we insure regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners. If a previous policy is still running, NAMMERT cancels it free of charge in the switching service.

Which limit of indemnity can be chosen in third-party liability?
10 to 50 million euros are available, spread across the tariff levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Third-party liability is the basis, and limited hull cover and full hull cover can be built on top of it.
How does switching from an existing policy work?
NAMMERT cancels the previous policy free of charge. You do not have to keep track of the deadline yourself, and the new cover follows on. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online.
