Only one model range is recorded, the Buhl 36, built from 2000 to 2008. A narrow programme is no obstacle to insurance cover: small production runs and home-built boats can also be insured at NAMMERT, and we provide cover regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners.
For a sailing yacht of this kind, sail area, value, year of construction, type of boat and cruising range determine the premium. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards; races with scoring status are declared when you take out the policy. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis.
Because production ended in 2008, the boats today come from second or third hand. The agreed value fixes the amount that has been set, compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), and in the Premium tariff there is no age limit. On request we cancel the old contract free of charge.

How does switching from an existing contract work?
