Why does a Carnevali 160 give the length in decimetres?
That is the yard's notation: 160 stands for around 16 m. Alongside it there are models with the length in feet. For the policy the length in metres from the registration papers always counts.
Is the generator on board covered?
Yes, provided it is permanently installed and included in the sum insured. On larger yachts the technical equipment adds up considerably, so the specification should be listed in full.
