With a current model the question of the replacement value arises differently than with an old hull: the agreed value fixes the agreed amount, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old").
Cover comprises more than the voyage. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are part of full hull cover. There is no time window and no night clause, and in winter storage, during craning and on the transport route cover continues.
The basis remains third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the tariff levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. The premium follows from the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range. A boat trailer is covered at no extra premium within the boat insurance.

How does the cruising range have an effect?

Is a new boat compensated without deduction?
Yes. Full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"). In the Premium tariff this applies with no age limit, that is, even once the boat has become a few years old.
