A single motor boat is documented here, the Sundeck 566 with years of construction from 2020 to 2024. On young boats a precise list of equipment and electronics is worthwhile, because it feeds into the agreed value that we settle for full hull cover and that records the value in the policy.
Compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Full hull cover comprises collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. Limited hull cover applies to fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage.
The premium is based on the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine output and the cruising range, never on the brand. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, and the boat trailer is included at no extra premium. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online.

Equipment and electronics belong in the list attached to the policy. They feed into the agreed value, on the basis of which full hull cover pays compensation in a claim with no deduction for depreciation.
Which tariff levels are available?
Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Third-party liability ranges from 10 to 50 million euros limit of indemnity, club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, and in the Premium tariff the age limit in full hull cover does not apply.
