Four ranges are on file: the motor yachts Porto Cervo, Riviera 71 and Riviera S with construction years from 1968 to 1976 as well as the sailing yacht Free Sail 18 from 1975 to 1982. No further details about the programme are available. For the premium, type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range count in any case.
If a contract is already running for such a boat, switching need not involve any work. NAMMERT cancels the previous contract free of charge and takes over the cover. The basis is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, supplemented by limited hull cover or full hull cover with an agreed value.
With boats from these construction years, the question of the value basis arises first. Full hull cover works with an agreed value that is fixed before the loss, and pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff it applies without any age limit, regardless of previous owners and place of purchase.
