One range is documented, the Clarc 33, a sailing yacht that has been built since 2009. Other models are not recorded. In any case what counts for the contract is the individual boat: the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the sail area and the cruising range determine the premium, whereas the name of the yard does not.
The limit of indemnity in third-party liability ranges from 10 to 50 million euros, graded across the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. It applies when you damage other people's property or injure persons with the yacht, in harbour as under sail. Limited hull cover and full hull cover build on it as further modules.
Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards; races with scoring status you state when the policy is taken out. Full hull cover supplements the protection with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation and covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts. The policy is taken out online up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros.

Which limits of indemnity are available for a sailing yacht?
10 to 50 million euros, depending on the tariff level Basis, Basis-Plus or Premium. Third-party liability is the basis of the contract; limited hull cover and full hull cover can be built on top of it.
Are race starts insured as well?
Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards. Races with scoring status we include if you state them when the policy is taken out. In this way hull cover also continues on the course.

Clarc 33 is a sailing yacht from Clarc Yachts GbR, built since 2009.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
