Worth knowing
Concord Clipper; cover, cost and conditions
Four sailing yachts are documented, the CC 41, the CC 41 CC, the CC 47 and the CC 54, all with years of build between 1975 and 1982. Alongside sail area, value and year of build, what counts above all for the premium is the cruising range, that is whether you sail inland, along the coast or further offshore.
We record the cruising range in the policy; the brand plays no part in the premium. If you cross the border, you receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis for this.
As these yachts were built a long time ago, full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays out with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. We insure regardless of year of build, place of purchase and previous owners, even after several changes of owner.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
How does the cruising range affect the policy?
Alongside the type of boat, value, year of build and sail area, the cruising range is one of the factors for the premium. It is recorded in the policy, and we supply the international certificate of insurance in ten languages.
Who takes care of the existing policy?
NAMMERT cancels the old policy free of charge as part of the switching service. You report the data of your yacht, we take care of the cancellation and set up the new cover with third-party liability, limited hull cover or full hull cover.

For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
