Two model ranges are recorded, the De Birs 80 and the De Birs 82 RPH LX with years of construction from 1999 to 2005. No further models are on record, and production has ended. If such a boat is taken over second-hand, an existing insurance contract often comes with it that is to be replaced.
If you switch to NAMMERT, we cancel the previous contract free of charge. You state type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range and choose between Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. We handle the rest of the process, so that the transition to the new cover runs through a single point.
Full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Added to this are collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online, above that we examine the individual case.

Who cancels the existing contract?
NAMMERT takes care of that through the switching service, free of charge. You register the details of your boat, and the cancellation with the previous insurer runs through us.
What does agreed value mean?
The value of the boat is agreed when the policy is taken out and is paid in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff the agreed value applies with no age limit.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
