Two ranges are recorded, Elektroboot and Miniboot, both from the years of construction 1972 to 1979. Production lies far back, the boats can be obtained today only second-hand. This has no effect on access to cover, because year of construction and previous owners are no reason for us to decline.
On motor boats the engine power is one of the factors that determine the premium, alongside type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. Small drives lead to different figures than powerful ones. The brand stays out of it, so that two boats with the same engine power are classified the same.
The third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros is available in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. The limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage, the full hull cover additionally collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts.

How does engine power affect the premium?
It is one of several factors, together with type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. On sailing boats the sail area takes its place. The name of the yard never enters into it.
Do you also accept boats from the seventies?
Yes. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. In the Premium tariff the full hull cover even applies with no age limit, with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
