The Endorphin 22 Cruiser has been running since 2019, a motor boat that is built up to the present day. On motor boats the engine power is one of the decisive premium features. State the power actually fitted, so that the sum insured and the premium match the boat.
Besides the power output, the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range are taken into account. The name of the yard plays no part in the premium. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out cover online; above that we examine the individual case. Report changes to the engine installation to us and we will adjust the contract.
Full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation. It covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. The boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium.

Why do you ask about the engine power?
Alongside the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range, it is one of the features from which the premium results. You should report a later increase in power to us, so that the contract is correct.
Does the premium change if a more powerful engine is fitted?
Yes, the engine power goes into the calculation. Report the conversion and we will adjust the sum insured and the premium, and the hull cover continues without a gap.
