Worth knowing
Euro Offshore; cover, cost and conditions
One inflatable boat with an engine is documented, the Blue Spirit 920 with years of construction from 2011 to 2017. For boats of this kind, full hull cover covers not only collision, grounding and vandalism but also theft of parts including the outboard, and indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation.
The agreed value is set when cover is taken out, and in the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit. In addition, limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. There is no time window and no night clause in the hull cover.
For the premium, the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range count, not the brand. The boat trailer is included at no extra premium, and cover also applies during craning, during launching and in transit. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis.

Series by Euro Offshore, build years and cover
Blue Spirit 920 is an inflatable with engine from Euro Offshore, built from 2011 to 2017.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On an inflatable the cause decides, not the damage: a tear from impact is covered, porous fabric after years in the sun is not. The outboard belongs in the policy with its serial number.
