Two ranges are available: the Ferryman 218 as a sailing boat and the Ferryman 234 as a motor boat, both built between 1994 and 2000. Anyone who already has such a boat insured and wishes to switch does not have to cancel the previous contract themselves; NAMMERT takes that on free of charge in the switching service.
When switching, the basis of calculation also changes: for the sailing boat the sail area counts, for the motor boat the engine output, plus the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. The brand itself does not enter into it, and the policy can be taken out online up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros.
For boats whose construction ended in the year 2000, the agreed value is the core of the hull cover. We indemnify with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit, and we also protect the boat in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the transport route.
