The FFA 20 and the FFA 25 are recorded as model ranges, with construction periods up to 1984. Regardless of size and age, every contract begins with third-party liability. Depending on the tariff level it ranges from a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium.
The reason for these sums: a sailing boat can cause damage to other boats, to jetties or to people that far exceeds the value of your own boat. Third-party liability carries this part, while the hull cover takes care of your own boat.
Production of both ranges lies in the past, and today they are bought second-hand. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. In full hull cover an agreed value is set and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without any age limit.

Which limit of indemnity should I choose?
You can choose from 10 to 50 million euros, graded into Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Anyone who regularly lies in busy harbours or sails in unfamiliar waters usually chooses the higher level.
Is third-party liability alone enough?
It is the basis and covers damage to third parties. Damage to your own boat, for example through fire, storm or collision, belongs in the limited hull cover or the full hull cover.
