One range is recorded, the Secu 12, built from 2021 to 2025. Third-party liability stands at the beginning of every policy: it is the basis and can be chosen with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels.
Full hull cover with an agreed value builds on this and pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are covered. On a motorboat with an outboard in particular, the propulsion is thus expressly included.
Engine power determines the premium alongside the type of boat, the value, the year of construction and the cruising range, whereas the brand never does. A boat trailer is included free of premium, and the cover also applies during launching, during craning, in winter storage and on the transport route.

Frequent questions
Which tariff levels are there for third-party liability?
Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium, with limits of indemnity from 10 to 50 million euros. From Basis-Plus upwards club races are included, and in the Premium tariff the age limit in full hull cover no longer applies.
Is the outboard of a Secu 12 covered against theft of parts?
Yes, theft of parts including the outboard belongs to full hull cover. Theft of the whole boat, on the other hand, falls under limited hull cover.
