Two motorboat ranges are on file, the ZX 20 since 2015 and the ZX 25 since 2018, both in production to this day. Anyone wishing to switch to NAMMERT from a current policy does not have to deal with the cancellation themselves: we cancel the previous policy free of charge.
The premium arises from the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine output and the cruising range, never from the brand. The policy is carried by the third-party liability cover with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, selectable in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online.
Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Cover also applies in winter storage, during craning and launching and while in transit, and a boat trailer is included at no extra premium.

Who cancels the existing policy when switching provider?
NAMMERT takes care of that as part of the switching service, free of charge. You take out the new policy; you do not have to deal with cancelling the previous one.
What does the premium for a ZX 20 or ZX 25 depend on?
On the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine output and the cruising range. The brand name does not enter into the calculation, only the data of the specific boat.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
