More happens between the end of the season and craning than many people expect. One model range is recorded from Ganz Boats AG, the Ovation 6.8E motorboat, built since 2019 and up to the present day. Our hull cover also applies in winter storage, during craning and launching as well as in transit.
We have no further information about the yard's programme. For a boat from current production we settle an agreed value, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis of the contract.
The premium follows from type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, not from the name of the yard. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online, above that we assess each case individually. An existing contract is cancelled by us free of charge.

What happens if damage occurs during winter storage?
Damage in winter storage is already included in limited hull cover. Cover applies equally during craning, during launching and in transit, with no time window and no night clause.
Can an Ovation 6.8E be insured online?
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros an online policy is possible. Above that an individual assessment follows, from which an individual offer is produced.
