The trickiest part of the season often lies between winter storage and the water. During launching, during craning and while in transit there is cover, and the boat trailer is included at no extra premium. For HS Marine one range is recorded, the Nordic 800 motor yacht from the years of construction 1998 to 2006.
We have no further ranges. The rating is based in any case on type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range and not on the name of the yard. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online, above that we examine the individual case.
The full hull cover covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). The limited hull cover bears fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the whole boat and damage in winter storage.

Yes, during craning and launching just as in winter storage and while in transit. The hull cover knows no time window and no night clause.
What effect does the engine have?
The engine output is one of the premium factors, alongside type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. The brand of the boat, by contrast, plays no role in the premium.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
