One range is listed, the J Craft 42 ft Torpedo, built from 2014 to 2018. Other model ranges are not available. With motor yachts of this category what matters is the sum insured: up to 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online, above that we examine the individual case.
The individual examination is not an exclusion but the way to a suitable contract with an agreed value. Compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without an age limit, and that regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. A second-hand yacht is thus covered as well.
Third-party liability can be chosen with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, with no time window and no night clause. Winter storage, craning, launching and the transport route are included.

Up to what sum is taking out cover online possible?
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you can take out cover online. If the value is above that, an individual examination follows, at the end of which there is likewise a contract with an agreed value.
Is there a night clause in the hull cover?
No. The hull cover knows no time window and no night clause. It also applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the transport route.
