Small motorboats almost always run with an outboard. Karel is a manufacturer of motorboats and sports boats with 35 recorded model ranges, among them the 400 Open, the 430 V and the 450 Classic Fish, built since 2005 and up to the present day. For these boats full hull cover includes theft of parts including the outboard.
We have no information on the country or on size classes. Ranges such as the 160 V, the 170 Paxos and the 450 Open CC are recorded, and many of them are still in production today. For each of these boats we agree an agreed value, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Besides theft of parts, full hull cover includes collision, grounding and vandalism, while limited hull cover includes fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the entire boat. The boat trailer is included at no extra premium, and cover applies in winter storage, during craning and launching and while in transit.

Does the premium depend on the make of the boat?
No. What counts is the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and the cruising range. The name of the yard does not enter into the calculation.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
