If the engine is changed later, the new power output belongs in the contract. Full hull cover covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. Compensation is paid on the basis of the agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
As production of this range lies in the past, the boat comes from the second-hand market. Year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners do not stand in the way of a contract. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, and legal expenses cover for water sports can be added.

Does an engine change have to be reported?
Yes, the engine power is a factor of the premium. Report the new power output so that the contract accurately reflects the actual condition of the boat.
Does full hull cover also cover a grounding?
Grounding is included just as much as collision, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. There is no time window and no night clause.
