The Laivite motor yacht was built between 2001 and 2008. For boats from closed production periods the agreed value is the central point of the contract, which is why we determine the value together before the policy is taken out. It is stated in the contract and is indemnified with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit, so that even a hull from the two thousands retains full hull protection. Covered are collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, and through limited hull cover additionally fire, storm, lightning strike and damage in winter storage.
Only one model range is on record, which is of no significance for the rating. The premium is based on the type of boat, the value, the build year, the engine output and the cruising range. If you switch from another company, we cancel the previous policy free of charge for you.

Is there an age limit for full hull cover?
Not in the Premium tariff. There full hull cover is possible with no age limit, with an agreed value and indemnity with no deduction for depreciation. In the other levels we assess the boat individually.
How is the agreed value determined?
It is arranged between you and us when the policy is taken out and set down in the contract. Permanently installed equipment and electronics belong in the itemised list and thus in this value.
