Over the winter, an inflatable boat with an engine usually lies ashore. NAMMERT cover continues to apply there, in winter storage just as during craning, launching and on the road. For the Leeway 8.3, built from 2006 to 2012, this concerns a considerable part of the year.
During this time, limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage.
No further ranges from the yard are available to us. For the premium this changes nothing: the calculation is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range. The trailer is included at no extra premium, and the agreed value records the value that has been agreed.

For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On an inflatable the cause decides, not the damage: a tear from impact is covered, porous fabric after years in the sun is not. The outboard belongs in the policy with its serial number.
