Worth knowing
Maritime Technik; cover, cost and conditions
The Tramp 495 and the Tramp 575 form the two recorded model ranges, built between 1992 and 2003. They are motorboats and production has ended. For the premium, with motorboats the power of the drive is one of the factors asked for when the policy is taken out.
Engine power, type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range together produce the premium. Two boats of the same length but with different engines are therefore not rated the same. The brand does not enter into any of these calculations, not even indirectly.
Full hull cover covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard and pays according to the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation. The boat trailer is included at no extra premium, and cover also applies in winter storage and on the transport route.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Which details do you need for a quotation?
Type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range. The premium arises from these details, and the name of the yard plays no part in it.
Is a boat from the 1990s eligible for full hull cover?
Yes. In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit, and indemnity follows the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation.

Series by Maritime Technik, build years and cover
Tramp 495 is a motorboat from Maritime Technik, built from 1992 to 2003.
Tramp 575 is a motorboat from Maritime Technik, built from 1997 to 2003.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
