The Mellody 30 is recorded as a sailing yacht with years of construction from 2008 to 2014. In the premium calculation the sail area takes the place of engine power, and the value, year of construction and cruising range are added. The name of the boatyard plays no part in this.
An auxiliary engine is recorded separately and included in the sum insured. If it is mounted on the transom as an outboard, full hull cover applies in the event of theft, as it covers theft of parts including the outboard.
Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, and races with scoring status you report when concluding the contract. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis beneath it, supplemented by limited hull cover and full hull cover with an agreed value.
