Worth knowing
Naslin, Francois; cover, cost and conditions
The Twin Surfer, an open catamaran, was built between 1994 and 2000. If it is transported on the trailer, that is co-insured: the boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium, and the cover applies during launching, during craning and while in transport.
The cover also applies in winter storage, where damage is part of limited hull cover. Fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the entire boat are added to this. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard.
Only one model range and a build period in the past change nothing about insurability. We accept small series and home-built boats, regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The agreed value sets the value, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
How is transport on the trailer covered?
The cover applies while in transport, during launching and during craning. The trailer itself is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium; a separate contract is not needed for it.
Do you also accept boats from small series?
Yes, small series and home-built boats can be insured. For the rating, the type of boat, value, year of construction, propulsion and cruising range count, not the number of units or the name of the yard.

Series by Naslin, Francois, build years and cover
Twin Surfer is an open catamaran from Naslin, Francois, built from 1994 to 2000.
For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
Open catamarans are beached and trailed, so most damage happens ashore and in transit, not on the water.
