One model range is on file, the Explorer Yacht Nautibus 15m with years of construction from 2003 to 2010. With a yacht of this length the question of the sum insured arises early: up to 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online, above that an individual review follows.
Independently of this, third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros is available, graded across the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium tariff levels. Whatever the size of boat, it remains the part on which limited hull cover and full hull cover build.
In full hull cover the value is agreed as an agreed value and is replaced with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. The premium results from the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range. For trips abroad there is the international certificate of insurance in ten languages.
