The change to NAMMERT begins with a cancellation, which we take care of for you free of charge. Two ranges are recorded for Nava, the Nava 750 motor boat and the Nava 850 motor yacht, both with years of construction from 2003 to 2012. No further ranges are available to us.
The same system applies to both: type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range determine the premium, the brand does not. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online, above that an individual examination follows. Third-party liability forms the basis with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros.
The full hull cover includes collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). The limited hull cover bears fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage.

How does the change work in practice?
You choose the tariff level and scope, NAMMERT cancels the previous contract free of charge. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online, above that we examine the individual case.
Are there time restrictions in the hull cover?
No. There is no time window and no night clause. Cover applies in the water as well as ashore, in winter storage, during craning, launching and on the transport route.

Nava 750 is a motorboat from Nava, built from 2003 to 2012.
Nava 850 is a motor yacht from Nava, built from 2003 to 2012.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
