Worth knowing
New England Boatworks; cover, cost and conditions
Cat Cay 53 is the name of the only range recorded under New England Boatworks, a cabin catamaran from the construction years 2005 to 2008. Whether propulsion is by sail or by engine is not noted in our data, and for the contract the details of the individual boat count in any case.
For voyages across national borders you receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages, and a separate application is not needed for it. Together with the cruising range set out in the contract, it clarifies where you may travel with the catamaran.
For a boat of these construction years we set an agreed value and pay compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). The basis remains third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, and the cover also applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and in transit.

Series by New England Boatworks, build years and cover
Cat Cay 53 is a cabin catamaran from New England Boatworks, built from 2005 to 2008.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
