Anyone who changes provider does not have to end the old policy themselves: NAMMERT cancels the previous policy free of charge. For the two recorded ranges Norcem Day 21 and Norcem Home 28, built from 1967 to 1975, that applies just as it does for newer boats. The new cover follows on from the previous one.
Two ranges from barely a decade of production are on record, one motor boat and one motor yacht. For boats of this age the agreed value is decisive, because compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
The premium is based on type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, and limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage.

How does the switch to NAMMERT work?
You give the details of your boat, and NAMMERT cancels the previous policy free of charge. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online, above that an individual review follows.
Is there an age limit for the hull insurance?
In the Premium tariff the agreed value applies with no age limit. Boats with years of construction from the sixties and seventies are therefore also compensated at the arranged value.
