Worth knowing
Sabrosa; cover, cost and conditions
At Sabrosa one model range is recorded, the sailing yacht Sabrosa 40 with build years from 2011 to 2017. Beyond that nothing is available. The core of the policy is third-party liability, with us with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium.
Damage to other people's boats, jetties and harbour installations can reach high sums, which is why the choice of level is not a side issue. Limited hull cover or full hull cover build on top of it, the latter with an agreed value and compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without an age limit.
With a sailing yacht the sail area instead of the engine power counts for the premium, and the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range are added. Club races are included from Basis-Plus. We cancel the previous contract free of charge when you switch to us.

Series by Sabrosa, build years and cover
Sabrosa 40 is a sailing yacht from Sabrosa, built from 2011 to 2017.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
