Two ranges are on record, the Sabreline 36 with years of construction from 1998 to 2005 and the SV 2520 Express from the years 1972 to 1979. Around two decades lie between them. Regardless of this, every policy begins with third-party liability as the basis.
It covers damage you cause to others with the boat and ranges, depending on the tariff level, from a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros. Limited hull cover and full hull cover build on this basis, with an agreed value and compensation with no deduction for depreciation, new for old, in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
For the older range the age question is settled: in the Premium tariff the agreed value applies with no age limit, and we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The cover also applies in winter storage, during craning and along the transport route.

What does the boat third-party liability insurance pay for?
For damage you cause to others with the boat. Depending on the tariff level the limit of indemnity lies between 10 and 50 million euros and is included in Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium.
Can a boat from 1975 be taken on just as well as one from 2005?
Yes. Year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners play no part in acceptance. The year of construction does enter into the premium calculation alongside value, engine power and cruising range.
