Three ranges are on record, the Dolphin 30 and the Dolphin 38 since 2018 as well as the Schäfer 30 from 2017 to 2021. Two of them are still in production today, so new and used units stand side by side. In both cases the agreed value in full hull cover and compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) apply.
When buying second-hand, the legal expenses cover for watersports helps, covering disputes after buying a used boat or with a yard. If a contract already exists with another company, the switching service cancels the old contract free of charge.
Sailing boats and sailing yachts are rated via the sail area, not via the engine output. Added to this are the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range; the brand plays no part. Club races are included from the Basis-Plus tariff; races with ranking status you state when taking out the contract.

Frequent questions
What distinguishes the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium tariffs?
The limit of indemnity in third-party liability ranges from 10 to 50 million euros. From Basis-Plus club races are included, and in the Premium tariff the age limit in full hull cover does not apply.
How do I move from my old contract to NAMMERT?
Through the switching service. We cancel the old contract free of charge. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the new contract can be taken out online.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On boats this size the condition of rig and fittings decides. A dismasting is covered, worn terminals after years are not.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
