Worth knowing
Sea Prop; cover, cost and conditions
RIB 19.70 is the name of the only recorded range of this brand, an inflatable boat with an engine, built since 2020 and continued to this day. Nothing more is recorded about the programme. The boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium, and the cover applies during launching as well.
On an inflatable boat with an engine the drive hangs on the outside. Theft of parts including the outboard is part of full hull cover, as are collision, grounding and vandalism. In the case of theft of the entire boat, limited hull cover already applies, as it does for fire, storm and lightning strike.
For the premium, type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range count. In the hull cover there is no time window and no night clause, and the cover also applies in winter storage, during craning and while in transport. The basis remains third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros.

Series by Sea Prop, build years and cover
RIB 19.70 is an inflatable with engine from Sea Prop, built since 2020.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On an inflatable the cause decides, not the damage: a tear from impact is covered, porous fabric after years in the sun is not. The outboard belongs in the policy with its serial number.
