Two sailing yacht ranges were built between 1997 and 2003, after which the documented production ends. Independently of that, every policy begins with third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, graded across Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Limited hull cover and full hull cover build on it.
Full hull cover settles at the agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old") and in the Premium tariff with no age limit. It covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts. Limited hull cover takes on fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the whole boat and damage in winter storage.
Details about the country, size or focus of the yard are not available, and we add nothing. On sailing yachts the sail area goes into the premium, together with value, year of construction and cruising range. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros cover can be taken out online.
