The Skipper 22 sailing boat is the only model range on record, built from 1976 to 1983. If such a boat stands on a trailer, that trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. During launching, during craning and while in transit the cover also continues unchanged.
No details on size, orientation or further ranges are available, and production ended in 1983. That is enough for the policy, because we insure regardless of year of build, place of purchase and previous owners, and small series and home-built boats are insurable too.
On a sailing boat the sail area takes the place of engine output, together with the type of boat, value, year of build and cruising range. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards. Full hull cover pays out on the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.

Is the trailer really included with no additional premium?
Yes. The boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium. Launching, craning, transit and winter storage are also part of the cover.
Are races with a boat of this size covered?
Club races are included from the Basis-Plus tariff upwards. You declare races with ranking status when you take out the policy so that they are within the cover as well.
