For the sailing yacht Dollart 33, production began in 1970 and ended in 1977. Yachts of these years spend part of the year ashore. Limited hull cover covers damage in winter storage, plus fire, storm, lightning strike and the theft of the entire boat.
Cover also exists during craning, during launching and in transit. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard and indemnifies on the basis of an agreed value with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
With sailing yachts the sail area counts towards the premium, along with the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. Club races are included from Basis-Plus onwards; report races with ranking status when taking out the policy. The policy is carried by third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros.
