One sailing boat range is recorded, the SportsBoat 20, built since 2018 to this day. Anyone taking over such a boat second-hand may end up in dispute with the seller or a yard. For this NAMMERT also offers legal expenses cover for water sports.
The contract itself begins with third-party liability of 10 to 50 million euros limit of indemnity in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium tiers. Limited hull cover and full hull cover supplement it, club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, and races with scoring are to be reported when the contract is taken out.
For the rating, the type of boat, value, year of build, sail area and cruising range count. We insure regardless of the year of build, the place of purchase and previous owners, so a second-hand purchase is no obstacle to the contract. Up to 2.5 million euros you take out the contract online.

Does the legal expenses cover also include a dispute with a yard?
Legal expenses cover for water sports is offered alongside and applies to disputes following the purchase of a used boat or with a yard. It can be added to the boat insurance.
Does the boat have to be new to obtain full hull cover?
No. We insure regardless of the year of build, the place of purchase and previous owners. In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit and indemnifies according to the agreed value.
