The SCV 172, the SCV 202 and the SCV 2160 form three model ranges, all in production since 2018 and to the present day. With motor boats the engine power helps to determine the premium, alongside type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. The brand does not enter the calculation.
If a more powerful engine is fitted later, the new output belongs in the contract. Full hull cover covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard and compensates according to the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). The hull cover knows no time window.
Limited hull cover comprises fire, storm, lightning strike, the theft of the whole boat and damage in winter storage. The boat trailer runs along free of charge, and the cover applies during craning, during launching and on the transport route. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis.

What details about the engine do you need?
The output of the propulsion, because it is one of the factors of the premium. If the engine installation changes later, report the new output for the contract.
Are new boats treated differently from used ones?
We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. Full hull cover works in both cases with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
