It remains insurable. We take small series and home-built boats into cover, and we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The basis is the agreed value, which we set before the contract begins and from which we indemnify with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

Yes. Small series and home-built boats can be insured with us. The agreed value depends on the value of the individual boat, not on the number of units built.
Which documents are needed to take out the policy?
We need details of type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online, above that we examine the individual case.
