Supermarine Motor Yachts Ltd. lists three motor boat ranges in our records: Spearfish 32, Swordfish 36 and Swordfish 42, all of them in production since 2019 and to this day. At the start of every policy stands third-party liability, at NAMMERT with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, depending on the tariff level chosen.
Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium determine the framework; from Basis-Plus upwards club races are included. Limited hull cover and full hull cover build on that, the latter with an agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) and in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Collision, grounding and vandalism are part of it.
For newer boats the way is short: up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online, above that an individual review follows. The premium is based on type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range, and the switching service cancels a previous policy free of charge.

Frequent questions
How high is the limit of indemnity in third-party liability?
Depending on the tariff level between 10 and 50 million euros. Third-party liability is the basis of every boat insurance, limited hull cover and full hull cover can be built on it.
Can I cover a new boat straight away?
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online. If the value is above that, we review the individual case. An existing previous policy we cancel free of charge.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
